LEWCO Dual Lane Trough Belt Conveyor with Pneumatic Turntable for Roll Handling

LEWCO recently provided an ergonomic roll handling supplier with a 90 degree pneumatic turntable with a custom Dual Lane Troughed Slider Bed Belt Conveyor to transport the rolls to different machines.

LEWCO designed a belt conveyor with motorized pulleys in order to keep the size down to a minimum and still handle the 2,000 lbs. rolls of paper. The conveyors also need to be reversing so we had to use a custom low profile center drive.

The turntable and conveyor were set up and a full test was conducted in our Sandusky, OH. facility with the actual rolls to be handled prior to shipping to the customer’s facility.
