Slat Conveyor Meets Auto Parts Manufacturer’s Unit Handling Needs

Slat conveyors can be easily modified for mounting assembly line fixtures.  In this  application, the customer wanted to convey torque converters, for vehicle transmissions, which would have a maximum weight of 30 lbs. each.  A robot places the part in the fixture at a rate of one part every 28 seconds.  Special color match supports factory floor visual standards.
