LEWCO U-Shaped Dunnage System
LEWCO recently supplied an automotive manufacturer with a U-Shaped Dunnage system featuring Chain Driven Live Roller and Pop up chain transfers.
This application required LEWCO to come up with a solution for conveying an empty 1 layer dunnage to a work station where an operator could fill it with parts, and add another layer from the same location. LEWCO supplied a U shape system that allowed the operator to load parts and re-stack dunnage from the same location while maintaining the capacity to handle the loads required.
The equipment LEWCO supplied is rated at 4,000 pound capacity and has the ability to be completely automated, allowing the customer to operate more efficiently and effectively.
