Chain Driven Tapered Roller Curves from LEWCO, Inc.
To complement our straight roller CDLR (Chain Driven Live Roller) conveyors, LEWCO Inc. builds Chain Driven Tapered Roller Curve (CDTRC) conveyors. The tapered shape of the rollers helps maintain the product orientation through the curve, because the tangential speed is greater toward the outside edge.
The tapered rollers are well suited for loaded pallets, drums, packages, and containers. The 45 degree spur shown at the left end is a Non-Standard Feature we can apply where needed.
Pictured above is equipment we recently shipped to a customer to revise an older LEWCO system that had been in operation for several years. The end user wanted to modify the pathways of their product, which required modification to existing conveyors, and the addition of new curves and spurs to tie into existing lines. The successful project was the result of accurate field measurements by our distributor, and coordination with LEWCO Engineering to fit the new and modified equipment into the customer’s existing layout.
LEWCO offers a quality product that is cost effective and built to the highest industry standards. Reduction in manual material handling, improved product flow, better ergonomics and elimination of shipping damage are just some of the benefits of a well-designed LEWCO conveyor system.
