LEWCO Powered Roller Square Corner Conveyor
A LEWCO Integrator has a customer who has an existing parts washer conveyor. They needed to return the round shaped metal parts back to the beginning of the line. The product rate and somewhat wet part surface precluded a belt or chain transfer. As happens often, space was at a premium; there was not enough room for a traditional powered roller or belt turn. LEWCO Application Engineering knew we had previously developed a Powered roller square corner and was able to work the previous design to fit this application.
To reduce installation time, LEWCO was able to set-up and test this layout at our shop for customer approval prior to shipment.
This powered roller square corner works best with round product. We also tested square boxes with some success. If your product orientation is not critical, this may work with your square (or almost square) boxes. Available in both 90° and 180°, LEWCO Inc will be happy to work with you on your space constrained application.
