LEWCO recently supplied a commercial wood door manufacturer with a Powered Transfer car featuring Dual Lane Chain Driven Live Roller on top.
The area where wood cores come into production is hundreds of feet away from the machines that fabricates them into customer orders, causing slow cycle times due to distance. Each wood stack weighs approximately 5,000 pounds, and the customer was looking for a solution to maximize their production and increase cycle time.
The equipment LEWCO supplied is rated at 10,000 pound capacity and has the ability to accommodate double the load, allowing the customer to transfer twice as much in a single trip, allowing their machines to hold production cycle times.
