The SL6, 6″ Pitch Heavy Duty Slat Conveyor is designed for heavy duty applications and long lasting service. It can be used for production, assembly line, and many other applications where a flat conveying surface is desired. This conveyor is suitable for conveying hot and oily parts. Conveyor slats can be modified for mounting assembly fixtures.

SLAT CONSTRUCTION: Formed channel, 5.75” wide x 1.5” deep constructed from 8ga. steel. Optional 4ga. or 3/8” thick steel. Slats attach to chain with (4) 1/4-20 button head cap screws. Flat head screws with counter-sunk slat mounting holes also available.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION:
- Conveyor Chain Sprocket: 12” pitch diameter, 6 tooth.
- Conveyor Chain: 6” pitch bushed steel roller chain with 2” diameter high capacity rollers with A2 attachment links every pitch.
DRIVE LOCATION: Standard drive is mounted at the end of the conveyor, below and within the frame, right hand side, or left. Optional drive locations include side mounted or floor mounted, right or left hand side.
MOTOR: 3/4 HP to 5 HP, totally enclosed fan cooled inverter-duty motor. Optional power off brake motor or non-inverter-duty motor. Standard voltage is 230/460V/ 3Ph/ 60Hz. Optional voltages include: 115V/1Ph /60Hz, 208V/1Ph/ 60Hz, 230V/ 1Ph/ 60Hz and 575V/ 3Ph/ 60Hz.
SPEED: 15 – 45 FPM (feet per minute)
CONVEYOR COLOR: Powder coated blue (RAL 5017). All guarding is yellow (RAL 1023) and moving parts are bright red orange( RAL 2008). Click HERE to see other standard color options. Custom colors also available.
As standard, controls are not included (provided by others).

- Supports can be provided with optional adjustable top plate for conveyors on an incline or decline.
- For slat conveyors, it is recommended that supports be located on nominal 5’ centers. It is also recommended that conveyors with height elevations above 35″ use knee braces (model KB18)
