LEWCO Cookware Manufacturer System
LEWCO recently provided a Cookware manufacturer with a system of Heavy Duty Multi-Strand Chain Conveyor and a Powered Transfer Car with Heavy Duty Multi-Strand Chain Conveyor on top to move custom fixtures that weigh 8,000 lbs. each to different machine locations. This system had to be designed around customers’ existing floor plan and equipment.
LEWCO engineers worked closely with the end-user of the equipment to ensure proper fit in the existing equipment location. This system was designed using a PLC and HMI to move the customer’s product to predetermined locations via the touch screen. LEWCO did a full system set up and test to show the customer prior to shipping the equipment in our facility.
